Original furniture enjoys the dual characteristics of individuality and longevity - there is nothing on sale in the high street that can so accurately reflect your personal taste and my work will still be enjoyed and in service long after the high street store items have been discarded or superseded.

I am a third generation furniture maker, and so craftsmanship is inherent in my design philosophy. Influences are diverse, from the art and architecture of ancient Egypt, through Bauhaus and Art Deco, to the beauty and grace of natural forms. It is the contemporary application of these ideas in form and detailing which characterise my work.

However, dialogue with the client is the most precious part of the design process as I would never have made these pieces were it not for that spark of inspiration. I listen to my clients, resulting in customer satisfaction which, frankly, is the only real measure of a job’s success.
